Kò Fanm, my second photo book, continues the visual conversation I began in What God Sees, but moves deeper into a space that is more visceral, more intimate, and more unrestrained. Through this body of work, I push further into abstraction, creating images that feel raw, emotional, and charged—where the female form becomes a vessel for tension, vulnerability, and desire without objectification.
While my first project focused solely on the human body, Kò Fanm expands that exploration by placing the body in dialogue with tactile elements—oils, fruits, jewelry, and layered textures. These materials cling, drip, press, and adorn, transforming the body into something both sensual and sculptural. The images carry erotic undertones, yet remain deliberate and restrained, allowing intimacy to exist without spectacle.
In Kò Fanm, the body is not simply observed; it is activated—becoming a landscape of form, sensation, and symbolism where the boundaries between flesh, object, and emotion begin to dissolve.
Kò Fanm by Stefen Pompée is now available for pre-order March 8th - March 22.
